Can You Get Youtube Music on Google?
To use Youtube Music with your Google Home device, you must already have set up a Youtube Music account using a web browser or the Youtube Music app. After linking your account to Google Home, you can start watching with voice commands.
Google will then start playing the content from Youtube Music. Your Youtube Music account syncs across all of your devices, which means you can turn off Youtube Music on your TV and continue watching on Google Home without interruption.
How to Link Youtube Music to Google Home
Once you’ve created a Youtube Music account, use the Google Home app to link it to your Google Home:
- Open the Google Home app on your mobile device and tap the Plus (+) in the upper-left corner of the Home screen.
- Tap Music under Manage Services.
- Tap Link under Youtube Music.
- Tap Link Account.
- Enter the email address associated with your Youtube Music account and tap Continue.
- Enter your Youtube Music password and tap Log In & Link. If you have more than one Youtube Music profile, you’ll be asked to choose which one to use with Google Home.
How to Unlink Youtube Music from Google Home
Once you’ve linked Youtube Music account to Google Home, you can use the Google Home app to unlink Youtube Music from Google Home.
- Open the Google Home app on your mobile device and tap the Plus (+) in the upper-left corner of the Home screen.
- Tap Video under Manage Services.
- Tap Unlink under Youtube Music.
How to Fix it When Youtube Music is Not Working with Google Home
If Google Home is not responding to your command to play content on Youtube Music, then you have to disconnect and relink your Google and Youtube Music account.
- Open the Google Home app on your mobile device and tap the Plus (+) in the upper-left corner of the Home screen.
- Tap Music under Manage Services.
- Tap Unlink under Youtube Music.
- Restart the Google Home app.
- Open the Google Home app on your mobile device and tap the Plus (+) in the upper-left corner of the Home screen.
- Tap Music under Manage Services.
- Select Youtube Music and tap Link Account, then Log in to Youtube Music.
- Tap Okay to confirm.
How Do I Connect Youtube Music to Chromecast?
If you want to stream Youtube Music on Chromecast or any other Google device, all you have to do is connect your Chromecast to the Google App and link your Youtube Music account. With multiple devices set up, you’ll have to tell Google which screen you want to watch on.
