Google will then start playing the latest unwatched episode or resume exactly where you left off. Your Vudu account syncs across all of your devices, which means you can turn off Vudu on your TV and continue watching on Google Home without interruption.

How to Link Vudu to Google Home

Once you’ve created a Vudu account, use the Google Home app to link it to your Google Home:

1. Open the Google Home app on your mobile device and tap the Plus (+) in the upper-left corner of the Home screen.
2. Tap Video under Manage Services.
3. Tap Link under Vudu.
4. Tap Link Account.
5. Enter the email address associated with your Vudu account and tap Continue.
6. Enter your Vudu password and tap Log In & Link. If you have more than one Vudu profile, you’ll be asked to choose which one to use with Google Home.

How to Unlink Vudu from Google Home

Once you’ve linked Vudu account to Google Home, you can use the Google Home app to unlink Vudu from Google Home.

1. Open the Google Home app on your mobile device and tap the Plus (+) in the upper-left corner of the Home screen.
2. Tap Video under Manage Services.
3. Tap Unlink under Vudu.

How to Fix it When Vudu is Not Working with Google Home

If Google Home is not responding to your command to play content on Vudu, then you have to disconnect and relink your Google and Vudu account.

1. Open the Google Home app on your mobile device and tap the Plus (+) in the upper-left corner of the Home screen.
2. Tap Video under Manage Services.
3. Tap Unlink under Vudu.
4. Restart the Google Home app.
5. Open the Google Home app on your mobile device and tap the Plus (+) in the upper-left corner of the Home screen.
6. Tap Video under Manage Services.
7. Select Vudu and tap Link Account, then Log in to Vudu.
8. Tap Okay to confirm.

How Do I Connect Vudu to Chromecast?

If you want to stream Vudu on Chromecast or any other Google device, all you have to do is connect your Chromecast to the Google App and link your Vudu account. With multiple devices set up, you’ll have to tell Google which screen you want to watch on.
