Can You Get Pluto TV on Google Home?
To use Pluto with your Google Home device, you must already have set up a Pluto account using a web browser or the Pluto app. After linking your account to Google Home, you can start watching with voice commands.
Google will then start playing the latest unwatched episode or resume exactly where you left off. Your Pluto account syncs across all of your devices, which means you can turn off Pluto on your TV and continue watching on Google Home without interruption.
How to Link Pluto TV to Google Home
Once you’ve created a Pluto account, use the Google Home app to link it to your Google Home:
- Open the Google Home app on your mobile device and tap the Plus (+) in the upper-left corner of the Home screen.
- Tap Video under Manage Services.
- Tap Link under Pluto.
- Tap Link Account.
- Enter the email address associated with your Pluto account and tap Continue.
- Enter your Pluto password and tap Log In & Link. If you have more than one Pluto profile, you’ll be asked to choose which one to use with Google Home.
How to Unlink Pluto TV from Google Home
Once you’ve linked Pluto account to Google Home, you can use the Google Home app to unlink Pluto from Google Home.
- Open the Google Home app on your mobile device and tap the Plus (+) in the upper-left corner of the Home screen.
- Tap Video under Manage Services.
- Tap Unlink under Pluto.
How to Fix it When Pluto TV is Not Working with Google Home
If Google Home is not responding to your command to play content on Pluto, then you have to disconnect and relink your Google and Pluto account.
- Open the Google Home app on your mobile device and tap the Plus (+) in the upper-left corner of the Home screen.
- Tap Video under Manage Services.
- Tap Unlink under Pluto.
- Restart the Google Home app.
- Open the Google Home app on your mobile device and tap the Plus (+) in the upper-left corner of the Home screen.
- Tap Video under Manage Services.
- Select Pluto and tap Link Account, then Log in to Pluto.
- Tap Okay to confirm.
How Do I Connect Pluto TV to Chromecast?
If you want to stream Pluto on Chromecast or any other Google device, all you have to do is connect your Chromecast to the Google App and link your Pluto account. With multiple devices set up, you’ll have to tell Google which screen you want to watch on.
