Can You Get Netflix on Google?
To use Netflix with your Google Home device, you must already have set up a Netflix account using a web browser or the Netflix app. After linking your account to Google Home, you can start watching with voice commands.
Google will then start playing the latest unwatched episode or resume exactly where you left off. Your Netflix account syncs across all of your devices, which means you can turn off Netflix on your TV and continue watching on Google Home without interruption.
How to Link Netflix to Google Home
Once you’ve created a Netflix account, use the Google Home app to link it to your Google Home:
- Open the Google Home app on your mobile device and tap the Plus (+) in the upper-left corner of the Home screen.
- Tap Video under Manage Services.
- Tap Link under Netflix.
- Tap Link Account.
- Enter the email address associated with your Netflix account and tap Continue.
- Enter your Netflix password and tap Log In & Link. If you have more than one Netflix profile, you’ll be asked to choose which one to use with Google Home.
How to Unlink Netflix from Google Home
Once you’ve linked Netflix account to Google Home, you can use the Google Home app to unlink Netflix from Google Home.
- Open the Google Home app on your mobile device and tap the Plus (+) in the upper-left corner of the Home screen.
- Tap Video under Manage Services.
- Tap Unlink under Netflix.
How to Fix it When Netflix is Not Working with Google Home
If Google Home is not responding to your command to play content on Netflix, then you have to disconnect and relink your Google and Netflix account.
- Open the Google Home app on your mobile device and tap the Plus (+) in the upper-left corner of the Home screen.
- Tap Video under Manage Services.
- Tap Unlink under Netflix.
- Restart the Google Home app.
- Open the Google Home app on your mobile device and tap the Plus (+) in the upper-left corner of the Home screen.
- Tap Video under Manage Services.
- Select Netflix and tap Link Account, then Log in to Netflix.
- Tap Okay to confirm.
How Do I Connect Netflix to Chromecast?
If you want to stream Netflix on Chromecast or any other Google device, all you have to do is connect your Chromecast to the Google App and link your Netflix account. With multiple devices set up, you’ll have to tell Google which screen you want to watch on.
