Can You Get Deezer on Google Home?
To use Deezer with your Google Home device, you must already have set up a Deezer account using a web browser or the Deezer app. After linking your account to Google Home, you can start watching with voice commands.
Google will then start playing the content from Deezer. Your Deezer account syncs across all of your devices, which means you can turn off Deezer on your TV and continue watching on Google Home without interruption.
How to Link Deezer to Google Home
Once you’ve created a Deezer account, use the Google Home app to link it to your Google Home:
- Open the Google Home app on your mobile device and tap the Plus (+) in the upper-left corner of the Home screen.
- Tap Music under Manage Services.
- Tap Link under Deezer.
- Tap Link Account.
- Enter the email address associated with your Deezer account and tap Continue.
- Enter your Deezer password and tap Log In & Link. If you have more than one Deezer profile, you’ll be asked to choose which one to use with Google Home.
How to Unlink Deezer from Google Home
Once you’ve linked Deezer account to Google Home, you can use the Google Home app to unlink Deezer from Google Home.
- Open the Google Home app on your mobile device and tap the Plus (+) in the upper-left corner of the Home screen.
- Tap Video under Manage Services.
- Tap Unlink under Deezer.
How to Fix it When Deezer is Not Working with Google Home
If Google Home is not responding to your command to play content on Deezer, then you have to disconnect and relink your Google and Deezer account.
- Open the Google Home app on your mobile device and tap the Plus (+) in the upper-left corner of the Home screen.
- Tap Music under Manage Services.
- Tap Unlink under Deezer.
- Restart the Google Home app.
- Open the Google Home app on your mobile device and tap the Plus (+) in the upper-left corner of the Home screen.
- Tap Music under Manage Services.
- Select Deezer and tap Link Account, then Log in to Deezer.
- Tap Okay to confirm.
How Do I Connect Deezer to Chromecast?
If you want to stream Deezer on Chromecast or any other Google device, all you have to do is connect your Chromecast to the Google App and link your Deezer account. With multiple devices set up, you’ll have to tell Google which screen you want to watch on.
