Can You Get Apple TV+ on Google Home?
To use Apple TV+ with your Google Home device, you must already have set up an Apple TV+ account using a web browser or the Apple TV app. After linking your account to Google Home, you can start watching with voice commands.
Google will then start playing the latest unwatched episode or resume exactly where you left off. Your Apple TV+ account syncs across all of your devices, which means you can turn off Apple TV+ on your TV and continue watching on Google Home without interruption.
How to Link Apple TV+ to Google Home
Once you’ve created an Apple TV+ account, use the Google Home app to link it to your Google Home:
1. Open the Google Home app on your mobile device and tap the Plus (+) in the upper-left corner of the Home screen.
2. Tap Video under Manage Services.
3. Tap Link under Apple TV.
4. Tap Link Account.
5. Enter the email address associated with your Apple TV+ account and tap Continue.
6. Enter your Apple TV+ password and tap Log In & Link. If you have more than one Apple TV+ profile, you’ll be asked to choose which one to use with Google Home.
How to Unlink Apple TV+ from Google Home
Once you’ve linked Apple TV+ account to Google Home, you can use the Google Home app to unlink Apple TV+ from Google Home.
1. Open the Google Home app on your mobile device and tap the Plus (+) in the upper-left corner of the Home screen.
2. Tap Video under Manage Services.
3. Tap Unlink under Apple TV.
How to Fix it When Apple TV+ is Not Working with Google Home
If Google Home is not responding to your command to play content on Apple TV+, then you have to disconnect and relink your Google and Apple TV+ account.
1. Open the Google Home app on your mobile device and tap the Plus (+) in the upper-left corner of the Home screen.
2. Tap Video under Manage Services.
3. Tap Unlink under Apple TV.
4. Restart the Google Home app.
5. Open the Google Home app on your mobile device and tap the Plus (+) in the upper-left corner of the Home screen.
6. Tap Video under Manage Services.
7. Select Apple TV and tap Link Account, then Log in to Apple TV+.
8. Tap Okay to confirm.
How Do I Connect Apple TV+ to Chromecast?
If you want to stream Apple TV+ on Chromecast or any other Google device, all you have to do is connect your Chromecast to the Google App and link your Apple TV+ account. With multiple devices set up, you’ll have to tell Google which screen you want to watch on.
