Open the app

Click on the “Continue” option under the “Login approval” message.

After you’ve tapped on “Continue”, you’ll land on the “Choose an option” page.

On this page, you’ll see a few options to confirm that the account is yours.

Click on “Continue”

After you’ve tapped on “Continue”, you’ll land on the “Get a Code Sent to Your Email” page.

Now, choose an email address to receive the code. (By default, the email address that is linked to your Facebook account will be selected)

Click on “Continue”

After tapping on “Continue”, Check your email for the 8-digit code(The code will be sent to your email within 5 minutes. Check your spam folder too)

Copy the 8-digit code.

Go back to Facebook and enter the code under the “Enter code” section.

If you didn’t receive the code,  tap on “Re-send code” to re-send the code to your email.

Click on “Continue”

Here, you will receive a “You’re all set” page with the message, “Thanks for taking the time to keep your account secure. We will continue to protect your account and let you know if we see something suspicious.” 

Click on “Continue”.

After you’ve tapped on “Continue”, you’ll be automatically logged in to your Facebook account.

Now you have recovered your account and you can use your Facebook account without any issue.

However, if you don’t have access to your email address, you can select the other options instead.

Method 2: Ask your friends for help

Follow the below steps to fix “Login Approval Needed on Facebook”

Locate the “Facebook” app on your phone.

Open the app.

Follow the on-screen instructions.

Click on the “Continue” option under the “Login approval” message.

On this page, you’ll see a few options to confirm that the account is yours.

Select the “Ask your friends for help” option under the “Choose an option” section.

After selecting, click on “Continue”.

You will land on the “Collect confirmation codes” page.

On this page, Facebook shows five friends from your friend list and you have to call any three of your friends or talk to them in person.

Ask them to log in to their Facebook account through any browser.

After logging in, ask them to visit facebook.com/recover.

After visiting the URL, they will get a message that includes “Help ABC(username)”. Ask them to click “Continue”.

Then they will receive a confirmation message, “Are you sure that this is your friend ABC’.

Ask them to click on “Yes, I talked to ABC on the phone”.

Click on “Continue” .

Now, they will receive a 4-digit code which helps you get back into your account. 

Enter the codes under “Each friend will give you a code. Enter them below”.

After getting all three codes from friends, click on “Continue”.

Here, you will receive a “You’re all set” page with the message, “Thanks for taking the time to keep your account secure. We will continue to protect your account and let you know if we see something suspicious.” 

Click on “Continue”.

After you’ve tapped on “Continue”, you’ll be automatically logged in to your Facebook account.

Now you have recovered your account and you can use your Facebook account without any issue.

Note: Enable Two-step verification in addition to your password to secure your account.
