A side navigation menu will pop up now.

On this page, you can manage the settings of your Twitter activity such as Audience and tagging, content you see, Mute and block, and more.

Click Mute and block.

Enter the hashtag to block on Twitter
After you’ve tapped on Muted Words link, you will land on Muted Words page.

Also, blocking is case-insensitive. So, If you add “STARTUPS” to your mute list, any mention of “startups” will be blocked from your notifications.
You can include punctuation within a word or phrase when blocking. Punctuation at the end of a word or phrase is not necessary.
Usernames, emojis, phrases, words, usernames, and hashtags up to the max character count can be muted.
Select “Home timeline“, if you wish to block the hashtag from your Home feed.
You can also block the hashtag from Notifications as well. For this, click on Notifications.
You have the option to block hashtags from anyone or from people you don’t follow by choosing From “Anyone” or “From people you don’t follow“.
You can choose “Duration” between Forever, 24 hours from now, 7 days from now, or 30 days from now. Muting is set to a default time period of Forever. You can update it accordingly.
